Altatac ships from Los Angeles, California to virtually any address in the United States and worldwide. Most products come with a 30-day return policy. This page covers how shipping works, what our return windows are, and how to start a return.
Shipping Information
We ship to nearly any address in the world. Some products have shipping restrictions, and certain items cannot be shipped to international destinations. Any restriction is noted on the product page.
When you place an order, we estimate shipping and delivery dates based on item availability and the shipping option you select. Estimated dates appear at checkout with your shipping quote.
Shipping rates for many items are weight-based. The weight of each item is listed on its product page. In line with carrier policies, weights are rounded up to the next full pound.
30-Day Return Policy
Most items sold on Altatac.com can be returned within 30 days of receipt, unless stated otherwise on the product page.
Items with a 15-Day Return Window
The following categories must be returned within 15 days of receipt:
- Computers, computer hardware, and computer software
- Printers, including 3D printers, and 3D printing supplies
- Camcorders, digital cameras, and drones
- GPS units
- Digital music players, portable video players, tablets, and e-readers
- Televisions
- Cell phones
- Video game hardware, software, and accessories
- Gift cards
Holiday Return Extension
For purchases made between November 1 and December 24, return windows are extended:
- Items with a 15-day return policy may be returned until January 10
- Items with a 30-day return policy may be returned until January 25
How to Return an Item
- Request an RMA number. Every return requires a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Email cs@altatac.com with your order ID and the reason for the return.
- Pack the item in its original packaging. Items must be returned in the condition received, in the original product packaging with the retail box undamaged, including all components and accessories.
- Ship it back. Our returns team will confirm the serial number and condition on arrival.
Restocking Fee and Condition Requirements
A 10% restocking fee may apply depending on the reason for the return and the condition of the item. Returns received in unacceptable condition will be refused. Serial numbers and item condition are verified by our returns department before a refund is issued.

How long do I have to return an item?
30 days from receipt for most products. Electronics such as computers, cameras, TVs, cell phones, and video game products have a 15-day window.
Do I need anything before shipping a return?
Yes. An RMA number is required for every return. Email cs@altatac.com with your order ID to get one.
Is there a restocking fee?
A 10% restocking fee may apply based on the reason for the return and the item's condition.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, to most destinations. Some products cannot be shipped internationally; restrictions are noted on the product page.
